The senator’s sentiments come days after the United nations (UN) gave a go ahead to Kenya to lead the multinational peace keeping mission.
Taking to his X account, the controversial politician explained that the acceptance by the UN solidified Kenya’s role in the global community. He further added that the country was not commissioning ordinary policemen but special forces and parliamentary police.
Cherargei prophesied that in the coming year , the Caribbean nation would be a country of prosperity owing to Kenya’s peace making processes.

1000 Kenyan soldiers are expected to embark on a peace making mission in Haiti for a year.
