Tanzanian socialite Hamisa Mobetto has come clean on her relationship with Tanzanian Bongo star Harmonize.
Speaking to journalists after receiving her Togolese Boyfriend Kevin Sowax at the Julius Nyerere Airport, the mother of two said that she is just friends with Harmonize.
“He is just a friend, nothing more nothing less,” she said.
Asked on if Kevin was aware of the friendship, Hamisa said that he doesn’t know all her friends. Kevin also said that he doesn’t know who Harmonize is.
At the same time, he confirmed that he never knew Hamisa was a celebrity when they met.
“We met in a private event in China. It was 4 months ago and as soon as I saw her, I was like damn, you know. Hopefully [we will get married soon] we don’t know what’s God’s plan. Hopefully God knows the end but I wish we gonna go everywhere so together to the end like to the wedding or whateverI swear I didn’t know [she is a superstar]. For me it doesn’t change anything. The way I knew her before it took me like 3-4 days to know okay[she is a superstar],” the businessman said.
Kevin will also be meeting Hamisa’s children for the first time.
Hamisa and Harmonize have however been raising eyebrows after introducing each other as BFFs. Their fans however suspected that something might be going on between them beyond friendship, after Harmonize was spotted having Hamisa’s face as his phone’s wall paper.
Harmonize however dispelled claims of being involved romantically with Hamisa saying she is just a friend.
“When will we ever move on? Am I not supposed to have a friend?…She’s just my friend and that’s just it. She’s a long time friend and she’s even dating. You’ll now start making people fear each other,” the artist said.
