Popular female DJ Pierra Makena is a proud mother as her 7-year daughter, Ricca Pokot, makes debut to the world of acting.
Pierra took to Instagram to share the information with her fans, saying that she is grateful for the team that was able to identify Ricca’s talent.
Ricca will be featured alongside actress and comedian Jackie Vike, who is popularly known as Awinja Nyamwalo. Details about the movie however remain scanty.
“My moment of tears of joy. Riccas first movie deal and I am so proud of her. …. I can’t express how grateful I am to the casting team and the directors/producers for seeing the talent in my little girl…she is away from me on set for 4 days and I don’t even know how I feel…. Also knowing she is acting along side @jackyvike I’m a bit relaxed ☺️ #congratulations my baby @riccapokotofficial,” the happy mother captioned a video with her daughter.

In the video, she saw Ricca off as she was being picked by a bus to head to on set for the 4 days.
Recently, Pierra opened up about Ricca’s dad, revealing that he married another woman just five months into her pregnancy.
“I told myself to be content when I realized I was pregnant and this guy was not going to be part of it. To be very clear, we had a very good relationship but after we broke and I was pregnant, he left. He did not want anything to do with us and he was very polite about it. He wasn’t rude, he didn’t demean me or anything but 5 months later when I was pregnant, he got married to someone else.That was hurting, I never thought I would move on from that but I did. Somehow I don’t know how we get the grace to but I am happy for him because I thought he found his happiness,” she recounted in an interview with Mungai Eve.
She said that the man is currently living happily with his wife and children.
A while back, Pierra said that she had forgotten about her baby daddy, saying that she is solely raising her daughter.
