ODM fanatic Nuru  Okanga has claimed that he has been  arrested and put behind bars by DCI.

In his official Facebook page the die hard fan of Raila Odinga stated that he had been arrested and he is now under the watchful eye of the DCI which has spurred a lot of suspicions from netizens, who are wondering if it is a ruse as he did not  give accompanying details of his arrest allegations.

Okanga revealed that he still does not know why he has been apprehended by the investigation unit.

“I have been arrested and taken to the DCI headquarters the reason is still unknown,”he wrote.

The is an outspoken individual and his popularity has grown in bounds due to his outright blunt and unclad comments on the Kenya kwanza administration.

Okanga has been in the limelight since the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results were announced last week. The vocal politician, who is eyeing the Kholera ward Member of County Assembly (MCA) seat, was among the candidates who sat for the primary school national examinations, and many Kenyans were looking forward to knowing how he performed.

He has however remained shifty on his results, which has made a section of online quarters to speculate that he may not have sat for the exams altogether as he made them believe.

Okanga is not new to arrests, having been apprehended and arraigned several times over political statements deemed by the state to be breaching the law.

Some of the netizens speculated that Okanga could have been arrested over overboard remarks he had made against President William Ruto during an open-air political debate at Jacaranda Grounds.

He however recently disclosed Raila had gifted him a precious gift for performing excellently in the national examinations for primary schools.
