Moses Kuria, the former Cabinet secretary Ministry Of Trade and Investments has seemingly turned to the lord amid the cabinet reshuffle announcement by the president.

The controversial politician took to his X  account reacting to his swap from the giant Ministry of trade and investments to the less demanding ministry of public service, performance and delivery management , a docket that was earlier spearheaded by Aisha Jumwa.

Kuria posted up three Agikuyu gospel songs minutes after the cabinet reshuffle news hit the airwaves. In one of the tunes, the singer calls unto God to help him out of the darkness that surrounds him while another asserts that when the time is right God makes it happen.

Not one known to be religious, the timing of the  gospel songs was interpreted by netizens to mean that Kuria was not thrilled about his new role in government.

The 52 year old then posted up a photo of the Deputy President , Rigathi Gachagua leaving Kenyans to speculate what the gesture meant since there was no caption in sight.

Kenyans flocked his comment section some suggesting that Kuria had not been swapped but demoted while others poked fun at the politician

”Nothing gives me joy that see you suffer politically”

Ameokoka olofasaden wakenya tuko na shida, you’re still a CS na bado unacomplain yet Mimi Sina hata za kabej”

”Heri kukaaa jobless than kupewa ministry ya wamama” netizens commented

The head of state yesterday night shuffled 8 members of his cabinet . The reshuffle saw the foreign affairs docket delegated to the  office of the  Prime Cabinet secretary Musalia Mudavadi .

Some ministers whose performance has been termed as dismal escaped the swap owing to the number of votes they brought to the ballot. The president is keen on winning a second term hence the kingpins will be influential in the next election.
