The Jamaican Musical Family ,Morgan Heritage dominated the stage in this year’s  Reggae Sumfest music festival. Since the festival’s  debut in 1993 the aforementioned trio comprising of Trinity- Peetah Morgan, Gramps Morgan, and Mojo Morgan have delivered exemplary performances making them a household name among die hard Reggae fans.

As anticipated, the Reggae group did not disappoint their fans, they gave an amplifying performance with their latest star-studded album ”The Homeland”. Their musicality and coordination was riveting an ambience that was felt through the the mad wild engagement from the audience.

The Homeland whose performance was covetable stood at #1 on the iTunes World Music Albums chart in over 20 countries during the first 24 hours of its release.

It connects the Grammy winning trio and their fans since it sonically traces Jamaica to Africa.

Draped in African print the lead singer Peetah Morgan solidified the group’s performance with amazing vocals which was synchronous with the group’s  graceful style of delivery.

This year’s Sumfestival marked a defining moment in their journey of redefining Reggae music. They dedicated the performance to their late father the Hon. Bishop Ras Denroy Morgan who introduced them to Sumfestival almost three decades ago. In a hearty message they gave a tribute to their long time producer “Digital” Dixon  whom they viewed as a mentor and uncle, the late architect of Reggae,Toots Hibbert and the legendary Jimmy cliff.                                                                                                                   Their stellar performance was met with exuberance by online viewers who heaped unending praises to the Trinity Trio.

The 3 time Grammy winning Reggae group have collaborated with various artists and bands across the board, which has diversified their catalog that spans over two decades.

Their upcoming shows in their Home world tour will be held in Belize on July 29, 2023 , Guyana , August 1, 2023 , Tortola , August Tortola and Brooklyn, NY on August 8 2023.
