Karen Nyamu a nominated UDA senator turned a year older on Sunday and netizens were eager to see how her children’s father would mark her special day.

Normally, celebrities take to their social media accounts to show love and wish their loved ones well during their special days and Kenyans online waited to see if the ” Mumbi” hitmaker would post Nyamu.

Her birthday began on a high note with blogs and Kenyans online wishing the controversial politician a happy birthday as she turned 36.

The most awaited birthday post, however, was a no-show until 1 Am. The father of five seemingly waited when Kenyans were deep in their sleep to express his birthday wishes.

He posted a candid photo of the two with a caption that fondly referred to Nyamu as his look-alike and his favorite Scorpio before declaring that he was not going to play it safe anymore.

”Look alike, favorite Scorpio. I will not play it safe. Happy birthday” the mugithi star wrote.

Kenyans however, were not happy with the timing and content of the post. Others argued that it was too late and his wish was now stale while others argued that Nyamu had posted herself as Samidoh slept.
