Actress Fridah Kajala has addressed claims of her daughter Paula being pregnant for Bongo singer Marioo.

The claims emerged after Marioo shared a post congratulating Paula. He however did not mention why he directed the gesture towards her.

“Congratulations my love ❤️ @therealpaulahkajala proud of you 🙈 I can’t wait,” he shared on Instagram.

However, during the launch of her daughter’s shop, Kajala set the record straight on why Marioo was congratulating his girlfriend.

“Omari alipost kama kumpongeza Paula kwa ajili ya kufungua duka lakini kwa kuwa binadamu tayari wana hivyo vitu Paula ana uja uzito kwa hio wamejijibia wenyewe. Sisi inabidi tuwaangalie tu kwa kuwa wao ndio  wanaongea lakini sisi tunajuwa Omari alikuwa anazaungumzia duka,” the actress told the press.

“Nikiwa nayo mtaona kwa sababu mimba haifichiki,” Paula said on the other hand.

To further stress on the point, Kajala said that her daughter will get pregnant at her own convenient time.

“Vijijini watu wanazaa hata na miaka kumi na mitano ama kumi na minne, kwa hiyo msitake ku judge kwa sababu paula anaonekana mitandaoni. Yeye mwenyewe akiona anataka kuzaa mwacheni azae,” she said.

In a separate interview, Kajala spoke highly of Marioo saying that he is respectful. About his marriage with Paula, she also said that she was yet to inform Paula’s father.

“Sijaongea naye kwa muda mrefu. lakini kuna vitu vinavyoendelea lazima nitmshirikisha kwa kuwa yeye ni baba,” she said.
