Khaligraph jones alias Brian Ouko Omondi one of the biggest rappers in Africa has seemingly advocated for peace after he declared that Diamond Platinumz is the biggest artist in East Africa.
The self-proclaimed original gangster changed tune after the bongo flavor artist’s impeccable performance at the Tusker October Fest held at Ngong racecourse in Nairobi Kenya.
Speaking to members of the press after his electrifying performance at the festival, the ”Khali Cartel” hit maker stunned fans after he stated that Diamond is probably the biggest artist in East Africa before quickly inserting that he is the biggest rapper in Africa and that it was all love from his side.
This move was taken by netizens as an insinuation that both artists are legends in their specific genres and as such, people should stop comparing them.
“Aight big shout out to Diamond Platinumz msanii mkubwa sana tunamhashimu, probably the biggest artist in ummm, he is the biggest biggest artist in East Africa. We respect that Lakini OG ndio OG buda. Mimi pia ni Mimi I’m the best rapper in Africa unajua? So hii ndio ilikiwa yenyewe hahaha but it’s all love at the end of the day you know? yeah manze.” the rapper stated.
The father of four lauded Diamond’s performance which was a mixture of his old and new hits including ”number one” and ”bora inenjoy”saying that he enjoyed the whole catalogue.
The Kenyan hip-hop star explained that both camps (Diamond’s and Khaligraph’s) gave their very best in their performances and each set was an amazing work of art.
“Tuna…. tunashukuru I think believe he did his thing yesterday, ilikua poa, na mimi nimefanya yangu pia leo imekuwa fiti na lazima kila mtu ile anafanya you have to give it your all, you have to give it your best. So yake kwake imekuwa noma na yetu leo pia imekuwa noma yeah,”Khaligraph responded.
Shocked netizens however did not spare their thoughts on the rapper’s change of tune. They flocked the comment section armed with opinions.
