Comedian Eric Omondi has declared that he will be going live on social media for four days nonstop.
According to him, his live video will start on Friday 8pm and will proceed to Monday. The move is aimed at raising money that will save lives of Kenyans.
“From tomorrow we are MAKING HISTORY!!! I will be Going Live for FOUR DAYS NONSTOP from Tomorrow FRIDAY 8PM to MONDAY 8PM!!! We are going to Raise Money to save Kenyans Lives. I will not go off live for 4 Days!!! I will be on Camera for 4 days NONSTOP!!!” he said on Instagram.
Eric further said that he has been receiving a lot of message of people who require help most of whom are sick. He noted that he has tried his level best to help where he can and now he is calling upon Kenyans for support.
“Since we lost Pyden, the things am receiving on my phone are heart wrenching. Mothers, brothers and sisters asking me to save their children, their siblings. I am not able to do that on my own. No one can. No man is an Island, I have tried my best to help a few but the numbers are piling,” the president of comedy said.
Of the cases he received, Eric Omondi selected five cases that he will help through the fundraiser. At the same time, he intends to break the record of the longest fundraiser.
“I cannot go live everyday, every night for different people. We have chosen five people that we will help, that will testify, nobody will die, they will live. I have decided to make history I am going to set a world record for the longest fundraising ever in the universe,” Eric said
