Eric Omondi has once again gone on a charity spree as he helped  a disabled mother of six  raise Sh 800000 to improve her life.

Mama Mary the lady in question was attacked by City Council police (Kanjo) while conducting her business during the smokie and egg vendors raid that attracted  a lot of attention last week

Her predicaments got to Eric Omondi after a video surfaced online depicting the county council police manhandling her while being ignorant of the fact that the lady was disabled.

In the video, the police can be seen dragging her from the wheelchair to the ground as the angry public looks on from a distance.

Omondi  traced the lady to Mathare where she lives in a single room with her 6 children.

The former comedian streamed live on his social media accounts appealing to Kenyans of goodwill  to help raise funds to improve Mama Mary’s lifestyle.

Netizens raised a whooping  Sh 800,000 in the livestream for the mother and her children.

Reacting to Kenyan’s generosity, Omondi thanked the cheerful givers as he revealed the sum amount.

”We did it guys!  We changed her life!!! Thank you to everyone who sent anything. GOD BLESS YOU!!! We are at Sh 817,000 tufikishe mita. For those who still want to send her number is 0727404199. God bless you guys GOD WINS!!!” the comedian stated.

Kenyans praised Omondi  for his philanthropy works while others condemned the county council police for the actions they termed as despicable.

“If we had just 10 Eric’s in Kenya bottom up ingekua a dream come true…..anyways God bless,”

“Ata nchi zingine azina Kanjo, kwani Kenya Kanjo ni wa kazi gani”

”So painful kuona wakifanyia a disabled mother like that God is watching on you,” netizens commented

The former Churchill Show comedian seems to have  a new found passion in charity work.

Earlier this year, Omondi was in the streets of London where he raised 340,000 in order to provide essentials for the less fortunate.

He also raised Sh. 600,000 for late Baby Payden Mudoga who was diagnosed with cancer.
