Oscar award Winning Actress Lupita Nyong’o has thanked all those who send her sympathising messages after announcing her break up with her South African lover Selema Masekela.
Through her Instagram stories the star actress recognized the concern from her fans after she made public her fallout with Selema after one year stint together.
“Thank you for all the kindness I have received from sharing my heartbreak news,” she began. “The words of encouragement mean more to me than I anticipated. ”
Tens of well wishers supported her with heartwarming message assuring her that she’ll get better and that that was just a trying moment for her.
According to Lupita she has received letters from fans with songs, poems and books encouraging her.
She has herself uploaded messages of healing that have resonated with her fans some who shared their own heartbreak experiences.
On October 19 the Iconic actress took to Instagram with a lengthy post that described how her world had been shattered but she was still peering in to the future despite the enormous pain she is facing.
“I find myself in a season of heartbreak because of a love suddenly and devastatingly extinguished by deception. I am tempted to run into the shadows and hide, only to return to the light when I have regained my strength enough for me to say,” Whatever, my life is better this way.” But I am reminded that the magnitude of the pain I am feeling is equal to the measure of my capacity for love. And so I am choosing to face the pain, cultivating the courage to meet my life exactly as it is and trusting that this too shall pass. The promise they say is that a tender heart is what gives birth to fearlessness. I hope its true….” she wrote.
