Betty Kyallo

Media Personality and entrepreneur Betty Kyallo has changed her mind about never returning to TV.

Initially, Betty was adamant about making a media comeback saying that Kenyan media can not afford her.

“Honestly, I miss my audience so much. Shida tu ni watani-afford?” she said in a Question and Answer session with fans earlier this year.

After attending the relaunch of TV 47, the mother of one is however having other thoughts. Speaking to YouTube content creators during the event, Betty Kyallo said that she might return on the screens especially because of her fans.

She further noted that the three years that she has been away from mainstream media have been fulfilling.

“Now that I am here and I am seeing all the razzmatazz about TV, I am actually considering. I can go back for my fans. My fans were special to me even if not for myself, just to do those shows that used to make people laugh and smile on a Friday evening.  I am feeling like it will not be a bad idea. I am not saying you expect me now. Coming here and seeing the whole excitement about TV and that was my main career I would not mind going back. It’s been three years but three fulfilling years of me doing so many other things that I always wanted to do, pursuing things that I never thought I would like Kyallo Kulture,” she said

Betty added that one of the things that she misses about TV is the instant feedback from fans and how people were excited about watching her show. On a light note Betty said that she is likely to look for a job TV 47. She also admitted that Dr. Ofweneke had informed her about a job at the atstion but she was just taking matters slowly.

“TV 47 if you are hearing me…I just love the way tv 47 has relaunched. It is always refreshing to see media stations fighting for a distracted audience because of social media. The studios are gorgeous, I could see myself walking there,” she said.
