Betty Kyallo has ruled out the possibility of returning to news anchoring especially in the Kenyan Media houses.

In a Question and Answer session with her followers, a fan asked her on whether she will be coming back to the screens any time soon. The entrepreneur however, responded by saying that she can not be afforded although she misses her viewers.

“Honestly, I miss my audience so much. Shida tu ni watani-afford?” Betty posed.

At the same time, she denied claims of being fired from K24. According to her, after exiting the media max-owned station, she was challenged to find more avenues for income.

“First, I wasn’t fired. I quit,” she said.

Betty quit K24 in May 2020. She had joined the station in 2018 after leaving KTN.

“I really appreciate you all. It is now time for me to say goodbye here on K24 TV. Thank you so much for all the support, I appreciate you, God bless you and I love you,” she said during her last show.

Betty fully embraced entrepreneurship after turning her back on cameras. Her businesses include Flair by Betty, Summer house , Aftershave by Betty as well as a cloth shop in Nairobi.
