Kenyan musician-cum-entrepreneur Esther Akoth popularly known as Akothee has revealed that she has no plan of involving herself in the country’s politics.

In a post she shared on her social media accounts, the mother of five sought to clear the air that despite being involved actively in the ongoing activities in Migori county she has no political ambitions of vying for a seat in any capacity.

She maintained that she has been using her ambassadorial position to fulfil her duties in the county of Migori and not to further any  political agenda.

“Am for Migori county I am not in your campaign teams nor your competition. I am brand. Whatever you want to do with this information is Up  To you. Well I am very disappointed in Migori leaders . You mean you people are already campaigning for 2027 when Migori has been drugging behind for years. Only known for throwing stones , veneral diseases and bad sexual behaviours. Come this election come that election nothing is changing in the face of Migori,” she said.

Akothee called out politicians who are already campaigning for the next general elections instead of working for people who voted for them.

“With your selfish interest in fulfilling your ambitions and not for the people. Is it not too early to start campaigning? When will you people work for the people who elected you . And now You want to put me in your mix of Supremacy. Team Nyamita, Team Fatuma RESPECT BRAND AKOTHEE and allow me do the Work That brought me here 💪I am born and raised in Migori county,I was married in kamagambo ,My children vote in Migori county. I have my democratic rights . With a brand to protect fuwo okadwar . Tuheshimiane

“The bad politics in Migori has affected our people, no one to show them the right way of politics, we have lost investments, investors due to our bad politics. Wangni oknwa yienu, let us be Diplomatic for once. We want leaders who believe in themselves not the ones who feels intimidated by people minding their own business.
