Vera Sidika and her embattled husband Brown Mauzo have once again left fans in confusion about the status of their relationship, following their recent activities on social media.

On Tuesday July 18, Mauzo took to his Instagram account to share a cryptic post about mending broken hearts.

“Life is so short to mend broken hearts buy a new one,” Mauzo said on Insta stories.

A few hours later, Vera Sidika also took to her stories with a similar post.

This however comes at a time when the duo are rumoured to have reunited after giving each other a cold shoulder for weeks. A few days ago, the couple were captured having fan at a recreational spot but they posted separate photos.

Rumours that Vera was not in good terms with her husband emerged in mid-April when Mauzo deleted all of the socialites’s videos and photos from his social media accounts.

Days later, Vera retaliated and also edited her bio removing the wife part from it.

As usual many concluded that the two were chasing clout considering that Vera Sidika is very good on that. She however came out to deny the allegations saying she would never sacrifice her relationship for clout chasing.

“Breakup clouts are lame, overused and retired. I have never done a breakup clout in over 5 years. I always have unique ideas if I want to chase clout and y’all know it, not this. Please just stop forcing it. Not everything in life revolves around clout. I can never do a break up clout, anything else but that. Whatever happens, happens in real life. By the way, in case you didn’t know, not all breakups are caused by infidelity. There’s a lot of issues that contribute. Life happens, people breakup and move on. Some breakup and fix issues. That is what life is all about, never a smooth ride,” she said on Instagram

That aside,  in June this year, Vera was forced to shut down claims that she was not legally married to the Coast-based singer. During the reunion of The Real Housewives of Nairobi reality show, the part time singer was forced to produce a marriage certificate.

“I’ve seen these comments a lot, asserting that Vera is not married and not a housewife, but rather in a casual relationship. However, I believe that even a come we stay arrangement can be considered a form of marriage after six months, although not legally. In October 2020, we officially tied the knot, and for all the skeptics and social media enthusiasts, I have brought along my marriage certificate,” the mother of two said.
