Controversial TikTok sensation Nyako has addressed claims of suffering from HIV/AIDS.

In a TikTok video, Nyako apologised to the troll who was spreading false information about her health status.

She added that she would not be ashamed even if she was positive because there is nothing wrong with being positive.

“I was scrolling TikTok then I came across a video addressing me that I have HIV/AIDS. What’s wrong with having HIV/AIDS? There is nothing wrong with being HIV positive. I don’t see anything wrong with that and if I am positive so be it Why should I talk about it to my followers. It’s unfortunate that I don’t have HIV/AIDS. That person wishing me to have that I am sorry, I am having a heartbreak instead of that. I don’t have AIDS. I have heart problem, I have goitre, I have grOWth in my uterus lakini UKIMWI mwili yangu ilikataa,” Nyako said.

“You just have to be responsible and not spread it to innocent people,” she added.

She also admitted to have been infected by STIs before which recovered from after undergoing treatment.

Nyako further revealed that she lost both her parents and two sisters to the deadly virus adding that it is something that she will never run away from.

“I will never distance myself from anybody who has that disease. Infac we should be encuraging people with that disease to live and think positively. The world is modern. Unapata mwanamke ako na akili ya matope ati anaadress mwenzake ati ako na UKIMWI, seriously? If you want to come to trash me with HIV and AIDS look for somebody else because I will wear that HIV/AIDS with proud. I am one of the ophans who lost  parents through that disease, tafuta content hio sio matusi” Nyako said.
