The African popstar Nadia Mukami has claimed that she is not fully committed to her fiance Arrow Bwoy.

This is because the singer has not paid her dowry to make her his wife. According to her, men in the 21st century should be informed that a woman doesn’t belong to them unless they fully pay dowry.

“I am not married. It’s a fact. I am not married, hajanilipia mahari, he is with me on credit. Niko soko. In 21st century we need to tell our men, kama hujanilipia mahari bado mguu  mmoja iko huku, ingine iko huku, I am just your girlfriend, not wife,” Nadia said in an interview with the The Morning Kiss.

The mother of one added that her dowry should be equivalent to her level of education and brand as well.

“He should marry me officially. I am free, and if you really want me to say I am married, you have my parent’s address. I am a lady who is very learned and is very high, and I am a brand. My father invested so much in me. I did not go to schools where people eat Githeri, so the dowry is high, and he needs to invest in this babe,” the Zawadi hitmaker said.

The hosts, Chito and Kwambox also questioned her about privacy in her relationship with Arrow Bwoy. Nadia said that she respects her boyfriend’s space.

“I feel like a man’s phone is his. Why would I touch his phone? I do not want to find anything there,” she said.

The two have been dating for several years and have a son together. Arrow Bwoy however proposed to Nadia in March last year, shortly before she delivered their baby.

Nadia and Arrow Bwoy love journey however began months after they released their hit song radio love in 2019 that proved a success.
