Comedian Sande Mayua alias Mtumba man has come out as a victim of domestic violence.
Sharing a video of himself in a tattered black shirt , the funny man showcased a broken phone, a bleeding finger and injuries all over his neck area. He accused his girlfriend of inflicting the injuries on him.
Mayua explained that he had been going through the abuse for a long time but he could not share his ordeal because of fear of judgement from the society.
”Going through hell but you can’t talk about coz the society believes men are strong and can overcome every situation. Only God can listen to me coz most of you will listen, laugh, sympathize, make content out of it na bado hizi zitajirudia tu.” the comedian posted on his social media accounts.

The 28 year old further stated that he had been brought up well seemingly indicating that he would never lay his hands on a woman.
”Tired swear am tired God please ipo siku ill be no more because am too good to people around me. I was raised well but humans can change you,” he captioned his video.
Popular comedian, Oga Obinna rushed to his his side minutes later, as he posted up a video of them enjoying some nyama choma . Mtumba Man thanked the former radio presenter for taking time off his busy schedule to spend the entire day with him terming him as a brother
“You’ll know he’s a brother when he spends the whole day with you no matter the meetings, family na all that he was to do today. Baada ya kisu, uharibu wa vitu kwa nyuma this nigaa oga obinaa has always being there for me. He pulled up with a lot of energy and time. Si am blessed to have such people around me” he captioned the video.
