Popular Tanzanian Bongo Artiste Marioo is allegedly rumored to have payed 100 Million Tanzanian shillings which amounts to Ksh 5.8 Million for Fridah Kajala as dowry.
The talented singer who is known for his witty infusing of Bongo with Amapiano and Paula Kajala have been sharing wedding plans on social media since the onset of this year.
In a casual Questions and Answer session with a blogger posted on Instagram Paula revealed that Marioo payed the hefty amount to get her hand in marriage.
In the aforementioned video Paula Kajala could be seen with her mother Fridah Kajala entwined in innocuous familial embraces while she posited answers on the interview.
“Tayari ametoa mahari milioni 100,” Paula Kajala playfully answered while laughing hysterically with her mother.
The interviewer skeptically denounced that Marioo would be willing to pay such a huge amount for the dowry.

In March, Paula announced that she does not plan to date again if the romantic affair with Marioo does not work out. Making the announcement on her Instagram stories, Paula shared a photo of her lover and captured, ‘My last.’
While this was in response to critics who called his lover out due to her past, Marioo in good measure shared her love for her woman saying he would protect her irrespective of what people said.
Although last week Paula Kajala said that she had changed her mind on Marrying Marioo she seems more than ready to tie the knot.
