Karen Nyamu alias Karenzo who is a nominated senator in parliament set the internet a blaze after she revealed that she almost took up a career in beauty pageantry.
The controversial politician took to her largely followed Instagram account where she shared the unexpected revelation with her followers.
Nyamu stated that when she was in law school, she was scouted for Miss Kenya beauty contest owing to her American height and her beautiful figure. She expounded on how the pageantry officials which included Chris Kirwa were hopeful that they had found the reigning queen in her.
The mother of three seemingly took the pageantry seriously as she enrolled in classes where she was taught how to sway her hips on the runway.
”When in law school, I was scouted for Miss Kenya beauty contest, because of my height, bust waist hips coordinates, @ Chris Kirwa and team were convinced they had found that year’s winner,. I took some modelling lessons where I learnt to walk as I twist my hips like this.” she posted.
The senator’s new found job was however cut short by her strict father, Mr. Nyamu who termed the pageantry as nonsense pressuring her to quit and focus on her studies.
”Eventually Mr. Nyamu told me to chose between school and nonsense. Mboka ikazima hivo” shared Nyamu.

The revelation elicited different emotions from fans who flocked the comment section with opinions on the politician’s post.

Nyamu shot into the limelight after her affair with Mugithi star Samidoh alias Samuel Muchoki was exposed. They have both been involved in dramas and controversies but it finally seems like the both of them found their happy ending in each other.
