Karen Nyamu campaigned for fellow politicians to join her and her lover Mugithi star Samidoh for a fundraiser for the Samidoh foundation.

The event which saw the high and the mighty in givernment attend was launched by the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

A lot of Nyamu’s political friends and foes showed up in support with most of them contributing 50,000 and above.

Speaking ahead of the event, the mugithi star put out a detailed statement concerning the launch of his foundation previously dubbed ”guitar ya samidoh” a name derived from his love for the musical instrument.

He highlighted that the foundation had supported needy children through school and also scouted for talented artists for the purposes of growing their talents.

The father of five also spoke on his humble background and the motive for starting the Foundation.

“In the last four years, through the Guitar ya Samidoh Initiative, we have supported people through Education, Feeding programs, scouting, and helping upcoming artists to record their music among other activities.

“And Now ladies and gentlemen the vision has grown big and we will be launching the Samidoh Foundation tomorrow on the 30th of November at the Parklands Sports Club. Join me in this Noble cause and help make a bigger impact,”.he posted.
