Actress Jackie Matubia says her DMs have been filled with messages from men after announcing that she is single.
In a video she shared on her Insta stories, the mother of two said some of those who were interested in dating her were even sending applications through her email address.
She however said that she would never again waste her time building a man by giving him a name.
“Listen up. Mlikuwa mnauliza ni lini mtu ataannounce ako single. Mnanijzaia DM hadi email guys kwani ni job application. Alah, Kenyan men!?Nimeamka nikapata aki poleni poleni hakuna vacancies na hii si kazi. Siwaste time yangu tena kujenga mtu, kumpa jina,” Matubia said.

On Tuesday, the former Zora actress confirmed that she was no longer together with Blessing Lungaho. Netizens had speculated that for weeks but she dropped hints with cryptic messages and videos on social media.
“Proud single mother of two,” Matubia said in her confirmation message.
Earlier this week, Matubia shared online the calibre of men that she had dated in her life.
“I already met Mr. Player, Mr. Stupid, Mr. Idiot, Mr. Cheap, Mr. Psycho, Mr. Lazy, Mr. User, Mr. Know it all, Mr. Control Freak and Mr. Stalker. Where the hell is Mr. Right?” she posed.
Her post however came shortly after Blessing crowned himself as Mr. Right.
“Hivi ndio nakunywa kahawa hii mtaa. Maua mkononi na smile usoni hata wewe ukiptana na mimi kwa streets unaezaniita Mr. Right. Sasa kuna mwenye amewacha lipstick kwa kikombe yangu ni kama atanitoa soko,” the father of two said.
