Weeks after leaving Citizen TV, Willis Raburu has found a new home in the mainstream media.

The celebrated TV presenter will be hosting the Wabebe XP every Friday at Cape Media’s TV 47.

Willis Raburu announced the new development via his Instagram page and many of his followers were happy for him and wished him luck.

“Welcome to the new journey… THE WAIT IS OVER! Announcing my partnership with @tv47ke WABEBE! #WabebeXP,” he said.

The show will be aired from 10pm.

According to a source  who spoke to a local news site, the show will entail interviews , music and games and it will be launched next month.

“It is a Fridays night show called Wabebe Experience and its about music, games and having fun with the interviewees,” the informant revealed.

Raburu will host the show alongside a DJ  whose main responsibility will be playing music.

After 13 years at Royal Media Service, the father of two called it quits in June this year. In his farewell, he said that he was grateful for the opportunity, saw him grow and learn a lot.

“Over the past few weeks I have had the opportunity to reflect on a lot of things concerning my life of course and what has become a general theme for me, of course, is gratitud, I’m grateful to everyone who has walked with me in all these 13 years I have been in the media, doing several videos. I’m grateful for the opportunity to come out and do what it is that I love. I have learnt a lot. I have experienced a lot and it has allowed me to grow in my mind and my appreciation of people and my appreciation of things and even different attitudes,” he wrote

A month after leaving Citizen TV, Raburu was hired by Nairobi County and he currently works as the Communications Director for Governor Sakaja.
