EMB Records boss Bahati has denied claims that the expensive life that he leads with his family is all fake.
Speaking in an interview with SPM Buzz, the father of five said that he is real and that is what has worked for him.
Bahati added that he is not shy to speak out whenever he is not okay.
“What has worked for me is being real, kikiumana unasema kimeuamana. Kwani ingekuwa sikusema singesimama mbele ya cameras niseme nanyang’anywa ticket na nilie. Kinaumana unasema kimeumana,” he said, adding that,
“In short, if things are not okay I will tell you this things, by the way haziko okay, that’s it. I will tell you kimeumana kimeuamana, a normal man will hide tears so that they can look expensive, mimi nakuambia na nikiwa poa nakwambia niko fiti, that’s how you inspire people. You don’t inspire people by only showing them the good side, you inspire them by also showing them the weak side.”
Bahati lavish life can be measured by the cars that he drives as well as that of his wife. He recently got Diana a Ksh19 Million Range Rover, a gift that came after surprising her with six other expensive gifts for their 7th marriage anniversary.

During the interview with SPM Buzz, the former gospel singer also revealed how much he channelled into making his wife happy with the 7 anniversary gifts.
“In total, all of them I can say Kshs30 million,” he revealed.
Last year, the singer also used a lot of money to surprise his wife with gifts ahead of Valentines Day. Some of the gifts that he showered her with are; a fully furnished mansion, a Prado TX a piece of land to build her dream home among others.
