Amberay, the popular Instagram socialite has come out to defend her rich fiancé against online trolls.
This happened after a popular blog posted up alleging that their Kilimani apartment was available for rent after the couple stalled on rent arrears.
“Amber Ray and Kennedy Rapudo’s Kilimani duplex apartment is now available for rent at KES 270,000 per month after the couple was allegedly kicked out for rent arrears” the post read.
Kenyans with their witty remarks came to a conclusion that Amber Ray had a broken up with Kennedy Rapudo over his inability to pay rent a claim which Amber ray has now refuted.
On her Instagram page, the socialite wrote a note clarifying that her break up with Rapudo was not because of his inability keep the house afloat but because of their personal differences.
She further asserted that she would never engage in an activity for purposes of click baits especially with issues concerning her personal and private matters.
The mother of two blasted the trolls stating that her rent summed up with Rapudo’s exceeded the rent in the duplex before advising netizens to mind their business.
“First Ken and I separated because of our differences, not because we couldn’t keep our house afloat. And it certainly wasn’t a clout chase. I don’t do clout chase, especially not with very personal matters. Despite most people already aware of what happened, it is still a private matter and it is one that is being sorted out,” the note read.
She further continued to say that she moved out mid month followed by Ken who moved out a while after since he couldn’t live in a five bedroom apartment alone.
“Second, the rent was never an issue. I moved out mid month, and Ken did a while after. It would make no sense for him to stay in a five bedroom house alone. That said, the rent for both our current apartments combined far exceed the rent we used to pay in that house. So we never had arrears, and were not kicked out… ‘and with all due respect, people should mind their own business,” She said in her post.
