Brian Chira is trending for all the wrong reason. The 23-year old TikToker and student of Kabarak University found himself on the wrong side of the law after defaming the Queen of TikTok Azziad Nasenya.

Azziad decided to report the matter to the police and Chira was arrested on Thursday. He spend the night in police custody.

This latest incident comes barely days after he encountered a mugging incident. Unknown people allegedly broke into his house and robbed him his valuables, leaving him with injuries. He suffered losses of approximately Kshs70,000 during the incident.

“Ndio nimetoka hospitali. People came into my house band mugged me. They took everything but you know what, I know God has me. Look at my  face. Ni sawa tu,” he said in a video he shared online.

A few weeks ago, Chira was also humiliated after comedian  Mulamwah refused to take a photo with him at the Kenya National Theatre. He called out the comedian on social media, hurling insults at him. However, Mulamwah responded saying that he has no issue with Chira but the activities that he does on social media during night hours which do not go in line with his values.  He further advocated for respect and humility in the community .

Chira is also unlucky because he has been rumoured to be gay. This is because of him applying makeup sometimes and putting on wigs. In an interview with Mpasho, he confirmed that he is not gay saying that  that is a misconception about him. The TikToker is however to blame for that because not once or twice, he has openly thirsted over men including Mulamwah, Dancer social influencer among others.

Earlier this year, Brian Chira revealed that he was facing stigmatisation, being battered in the streets and being trolled online.The socialite posted a video captioned ”God Why Me” in regard to the hate and mistreatment he faces. Often he is a victim of backlash because of his entire personality.

Finally, he faced an encounter that completely turned around his life. Chira was sodomized while in Mombasa and that saw him contract HIV.
