Kenyan Gospel Singer Ringtone Apoko has revealed that he has no money and that his current riches are stored in heaven.

Ringtone during the interview  spoke on a number of things including selling his vehicle due to the rise in the cost of fuel.’

“Niliishiwa siku hizi naenda na mguu ,ni vizuri pia kuwa na uzoefu wa kutembea kwa miguu kama vile wakenya wengine hufanya ,niliuza gari langu baada ya bei ya mafuta kuwa ghali niliona sitatumia pesa nyingi kwa mafuta tu na nikaaamua kuuza gari langu,” he claimed .

During the interview Apoko mentioned that he was not pleased when Christina Shusho was received in her visit to Kenya by Eric Omondi whom he faulted as a fornicator and a sinner.

“Nashangaa Eric Omondi anampokea Christina Shusho kwa nini wakati ambapo wasanii wa nyimbo za injili wapo. Shusho hangekumbali kukaribiswa na Eric ambaye anapenda raha ya dunia kuliko mungu cha kusitikisha anavaa nguo kama mwanamke na anatembea uchi naudhika sana,” Ringtone said.

Apoko also vilified gospel artists who he said were involved in pleasing their flesh instead of God. In a what seemed like a jibe aimed at Bahati he claimed that some gospel artists should stop wearing women’s clothing.

The controversial gospel singer said that his pursuits are now based on God’s word and that he had no intention of chasing worldly things.
