Kiraitu Murungi former Meru governor has graduated with a unique degree from the Colombia university in New York.

Murungi graduated with a degree in positive psychology having undergone through the main course which is happiness.

The seasoned politician took to his largely X account to share his success with his supporters.

He announced happily that he had finally completed a one year degree course in happiness studies from the Happiness studies academy.

Murungi added that he was now equipped with the right skills and methodology to help people lead happy lives.

” I am happy to announce that I successfully completed a one year degree course in happiness studies from the happiness studies academy and graduated. I am now fully equipped to spearhead the happiness revolution in my motherland.” he wrote.

Excited netizens flocked the comment section armed with opinions on the unique course the former Meru county boss chose to undertake.

Murungi had prior revealed that he had stumbled upon the happiness course online and decided to try it as he had just lost the 2022 elections.

”“I stumbled onto a course because I was very disappointed…I was very stressed so I did a course on happiness studies academy. I registered for it and I have just completed it. I am going to Columbia to graduate next month,” Murungi said earlier in an interview.

The former governor lost to the independent candidate Kawira Mwangaza having been the county boss for five years.

Shift now focuses to how the former governor will use his newly acquired skills to bring peace in his county seeing that they are ridden in political chaos.
