Veteran movie actress Frida Kajala Masanja has raised a playful eyebrow at her daughter Paula Kajala’s pre-wedding preparations, shedding light on her perceived laziness.
As Paula’s romance with bongo star Omary Mwanga, popularly known as Marioo, blooms into a serious commitment, Kajala’s witty take on the matter has gained attention.
In a social media post that exudes a mix of motherly love and jest, Kajala expressed her hopes that divine intervention would guide Paula’s journey into matrimony. The actress shared a humorous meme, featuring a message that playfully questioned Paula’s readiness for the in-law’s scrutiny amid her alleged laziness.
The meme’s caption read, “The way you are so lazy and how the in-laws like to send people for errands , will you really put up with it?” A hint at Paula’s relationship with Marioo was woven into the post, showcasing Kajala’s concern and affection for her daughter.
Paula reciprocated her mother’s humor by reposting the meme on her own social media, responding with laughter, and demonstrating their close bond. Kajala’s ability to approach the situation with a touch of playful sarcasm highlighted the warmth between the two.
While Frida Kajala has shown support for Paula and Marioo’s relationship, she isn’t shy about imparting wisdom. Earlier, she candidly revealed that Marioo had requested her family’s blessings for marriage. Kajala playfully warned Marioo against mistreating Paula should any disagreements arise, drawing parallels to past experiences with another former partner, Harmonize.
“Congratulations my son, one video clip, regarding the engagement letter, we have received it with open arms, wait for the response and welcome to the Masanja family. (but next year, if you don’t get engaged to us, I will cast a spell on you)” Kajala said, albeit jokingly, while promoting her son-in-law’s new song on her Instagram.
