Comedian Eric Omondi has flown to the United Kingdom, just a day after being dissed by Trade CS Moses Kuria.
Eric left the country with nothing but only his air ticket, saying that he was going for shopping just to prove to Kuria that he can sponsor himself for trips abroad.
“Aliongelesha jana, today nimeenda UK to show him I can go, Mungu amenibariki. I am going to UK for a day. Naenda UK sababu ya Moses Kuria. Naenda kufanya shopping nirudi,” the comedian told YouTuber Vincent Mboya.
He was however grateful to Kuria for sponsoring him to America 7 years ago but he told the CS not to change the conversation on taxing Kenyan youths.

“Nashukuru sana Moses Kuria kwa kunipeleka America 7 years ago lakini usichange hio topic, conversation ni usitax youths. Ukitax youths watashinda wamekopa walipie deni. So msitax youths, tax watu wanamange kulipia ndege,” he said.
Kuria dissed Omondi during a debate session that was hosted by Citizen TV on Wednesday this week. While faulting the funny man over his continued criticism on the government, Kuria expressed his regrets on funding his US trip, saying that he should have used the funds to have fun.
“Ni lazima tuwe watu ambao tunajilinganisha na dunia nzima. Nimeskia Eric akisema ni kijana. Miaka saba iliyopita nilichukua pesa yangu nikampeleka America ndio aone vile dunia iko. Saa hii vile anaongea, afadhali ningetumia hio pesa kwa sherehe,” Kuria stated.
