Renowned Gospel musician, Betty Bayo,has finally reverted to many questions from online users regarding her home affairs’.

Betty who made a major screen appearance after being feature on Kenya’s first and only reality show Oh Sister has refuted claims that she is a divorcee from her alleged husband pastor Kanyari.

During the reality show, the artist discloses that she is not a divorcee as she  poured her regrets towards the idea of settling down with the embattled pastor without having known him inside out.

“I am not a divorcee, I was never married,” she declared noting that moving in with Kanyari and calling it marriage was a mistake.

“The mistake I made was to get into a marriage without really knowing my partner. I didn’t take my time to research on the background.” Betty Bayo explained.

Betty further revealed that she never took time to check on her alleged ‘husband’, Victor Kanyari, who was exposed by former journalist now politician Mohammed Ali on an investigative show Jicho Pevu, for brainwashing his congregants with fake miracles and laundering money from them.

”I didn’t consider things like character, personality. We differed in a lot of things. Every topic was an argument,” She disclosed.”

The ’11th Hour’ hitmaker, who has 3 children with Pastor Kanyari revealed that she is now in  relationship with a handsome man with whom she plans to have a white wedding soon following their adorable traditional wedding in 2021.

“I am married, I have a handsome man but the only thing you can relate with me is the ex. before citing a day to day activity that highlights  how people should engage with their exes I believe even in your house, what you don’t use, you put it in the trash. The only people who go back to the trash are mad people,” Betty Bayo stated.
