Shakib Cham has broken silence amid speculations that his relationship with Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan is hitting the rock bottom.

Shakib took to his Insta stories and shared his photo with three of Zari’s children. His move has however been seen as efforts to counter the rumors.

The photo was accompanied by a song titled Forever by Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Eminem and Drake. Not only did he pin the song to his story but also the lyrics.

“It may not mean nothing to y’all but understand nothing was done for me. So I don’t plan on stopping at all, I want this shit forever,” part of the lyrics read.

Zari sparked the breakup rumors after sharing on snapchat about lies and how they affect relationships.

“Some people do not understand how poisonous lies are. Lies infect and curse happy relationships to the point where you actually feel sick to your stomach for trusting them again. No matter how much you love a person, sometimes you can’t help but feel like they stole your Comfort. You’re no longer comfortable because you second-guess everything. Now, trusting them isn’t effortless. It now requires a conscious effort and sometimes that’s exhausting,” Zari said.

Her post came just days after Shakib responded to claims by his ex-lover that Zari broke their marriage. Shakib denied that he was married before saying that the woman accusing Zari was just his girlfriend.

“I know Shakirah Nalule, and she was my girlfriend eight years ago but never got married. She even wanted me to go to America while I was in South Africa, but I refused after finding out that we are both from the same clan, “Ngonge” not only that she also has six children from different men,” Shakib told a Uganda TV station.
