Mr. Seed

Kenyan secular musician Mr. Seed has expressed his disappointment on a local radio station for playing foreign music for 24 hours straight.

Mr. Seed took to his Insta stories to call out the Coast-based radio station saying that the owners of the songs they were playing have no idea about them.

He went ahead to urge them to support local talent.

“Am listening to a certain  radio station in Kilifi these guys are just playing foreign songs. They have not played any Kenyan song since jana and its a Kenyan radio. You people should start supporting  your own musicians man. Watu mnashinda mmewacheza hata hawawatambui nkt,” the former gospel artist said.

He further said that Kenyans musicians are putting in  a lot of effort. Mr. Seed also wondered why the radio station  could not play music from Coastal musicians.

“Kenyans musicians are really in work and you can’t say we don’t have good music you can play. Play hata ya wasanii wa Mombasa basi ama mtasema hakuna wasaniii Coast?” the dawa ya baridi hitmaker said.
