Celebrated Swahili news anchor Rashid Abdalla has penned a sweet message to his wife and colleague Lulu Hassan as she turns a year older.

The award winning film producer  likened his wife to a continuous drama piece that keeps impacting the lives of many people.

“Wewe ni mfano hai wa tamthilia endelevu inayogusa maisha ya wengi,” Rashid said.

The father of three added that Lulu has given value to the lives of many with the little she is blessed with.

“Aliyekupa jina LULU alijua fika utayapa thamani maisha ya wengi kwa kile kidogo Mungu anachokujalia. Wewe ndio mtu pekee unayejua uzuri wa ubaya wangu na kuthamini ubaya wa uzuri wangu . Happy birthday ❤️ Mrs Mwajita @loulou_hassan,” Rashid said

The celebrity couple are well known for Their fluent Swahili anchoring at citizen TV. They also have a joint film production company known as Jiffy pictures.  The company has produced award winning Kenyan telenovela films like ‘Maria’ which aired on Citizen TV, ‘Pete’ that airs on Maisha Magic East and so many others.

The two became the first couple to ever anchor news together in Kenya.
