Popular teenage rap sensation Trio Mio has lost control of his Instagram account that boasts of 438,000 followers.

In a statement he shared on his Twitter account, the rapper said that his Instagram account is currently under the control of an unauthorized person(hacker)

He however said that the issue is being addressed so that he regains control of the account.

“I am writing this message to inform you that my Instagram account has been compromised and is currently under the control of an unauthorized person. I want to assure you that I am taking all necessary steps to regain control of my account as soon as possible. I have reported the issue to Instagram and I am working very closely with their team to resolve the matter,” Trio Mio said.

He further warned fans to be cautious of any activities that might be going on in the account, urging them to ignore any requests for money or personal information.

“However in the meantime, I want to warn all of my fans and supporters to be cautious of any interactions with my account. Please be aware that any messages or posts from this account may not be from me. I advise you to ignore any suspicious messages or requests from this account and do not share any personal information or send money to anyone claiming to be me,” Trio Mio said.

The Sipangwingwi hitmaker also apologized for the inconveniences that might befall his fans and urged them to reach him out through his Twitter page.

“I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and I appreciate your understanding and support during this time. I will keep you updated on the progress of this matter via my Twitter page. I hope to regain control of my account soon,” Trio Mio said.
