Comedian Timothy Kimani aka Njugush and his wife Celestine Ndinda aka Wakavinye are back in the country after holding a successful standup comedy show in Swindon, UK last Saturday.
While abroad, Njugush shocked everyone when he decided to propose to his wife and put an engagement ring on her finger yet they had been married for six good years and are even blessed with two children.
He has however explained why he went down on one knee at the London eye after returning to the country. According to him, he never proposed to Wakavinye before their December 2016 wedding and that has always brought trouble.
He further said that he will be proposing to Wakavinye whenever they will be going.
“Inakuanga case sikuwahi propose tukioana. Tukioana tuko like sasa unataka watoto wangapi.(It is always a case I didn’t propose before we got married. At the time we just wanted to know how many kids we want). Now that I can be able to propose I will be proposing everywhere we go,” the comedian told content creators.
Asked on whether they will redo their wedding, the couple said they would but it will not happen in the country
“Australia is where we will wed,”Njugush said.
While sharing the video of the proposal, Wakavinye said that she would be saying that she was proposed at the London eye.
“From now hence forth, Nitakuwa nasema he proposed at the London eye,” the mother of two said.
