The self proclaimed chairman of gospel music Ringtone Apoko has slammed a fan saying that he is richer than his father.

Ringtone had shared a post captioning it, “People pray that you deaded but God is life you so much,” and the fan thought that he was being foolish.

“Wachanga ufala we mzee,” he commented on the post.

Ringtone however hit back at him boasting of his richness.

“Niko na pesa kushinda babako,” the Pamela hitmaker fired back.

Several other netizens came to the defence of the fan, asking Ringtone to use the money he was boasting about to learn English.

“Hio pesa yako soma kizungu na uingie waadhi uache kuvaa counter fit,” one told him.

“Are you seriously incapable of composing just one sentence in English? Yaani kwa kweli, si kwa ubaya. Huwezi andika sentensi moja kwa kimombo? I can volunteer for free to give you just one simple language lesson every three days in a week for just an hour. Nitajitolea. Au hapa mambo itaendelea kuchemka. Tafafhali uliza usaidizi,” another suggested.

Ringtone however boasts of being among the richest artist in Kenya and he has never shied from flaunting his wealth online and donning expensive and ‘golden’ outfits. According to him, his net worth is about Kshs50 billion.

In the past, he denied claims of engaging in wash wash business and detailed how he made his billions.

“I am an artiste who uses his brain. Jalas, I met you 10 years ago when I used to tour 10 schools per week. Every school I would go I got more than Kshs500,000. Those are the people that gave me the money,” he told Jalang’o.
