Tanzania’s leading Artist Diamond Platinumz has taken a swipe at his competitors after he topped the list of the most viewed Tanzanian artist on YouTube  February, 2023.

The father of four topped the chart with 47.6 million views. His former signee Rayvanny came second with 20. 6 million views while Harmonize, also his former signee, was listed number three with 16.3 million views.

The chart further indicated that Zuchu, Mavokali, Mbosso and Rose Muhando were number 4,5,6 and 7 with 10.4m, 8.63m, 8.35m and 6.89 million views respectively.

Alikiba, Jay Melody and Marioo closed the top ten list with 6.11million views,  6.07 million and 5.08 million views respectively.

While sharing the results on his Insta stories, Diamond asked his competitors to pull up their socks. He added that the songs they release on a daily basis have no benefit.

“Basi mnaolazimisha upinzani mngejikazaga hata kidogo kwenye vimauzo vyenyu jamani, asa manyimbo mnayotoa kila kukicha faida yake ni nini(Those forcing competition, you would have pulled up your socks on your sales. What are the benefits of all he songs you release on a daily basis),” he said.

Harmonize and Alikiba have been known as the main competitors of the Yatapita hitmaker.
