A female Staff  at Kitengela’s Pizza Inn was stabbed to death by her boyfriend at her workplace.

The shocking incident occurred on Friday night, inside the establishment where the suspect is also an employee. The man who was not on duty is said to have walked in the establishment and killed his lover before attempting to flee.

An angry mob however cornered him, and gave him a thorough beating before he was rescued and rushed to  Kitengela subcounty hospital where he is currently fighting for his life.

“Pizza Inn Kitengela. A man stabbed her girlfriend to death. Members of the public have given the man a proper beating. We have rushed him to Kitengela Subcounty hospital, his chances of survival are minimal,” a witness said on social media.

It is however not clear why the suspect decided to end his lover’s life but sources claim they had issues in their relationship.

Videos from the scene of crime have been shared online, and they show two people, a man and a woman, lying on the floor. The woman is in a pool of blood.
