CNN correspondent Larry Madowo has been baffled by a hotel he is currently staying in after he was given a Bible and several condoms while checking in.

The journalist took to social media on Saturday and shared a photo of the items saying that the hotel was being too much.

“My hotel is doing too much,” he said.

His post attracted reactions from several individuals including his colleagues. Here is what some had to say about his post;

Gwadiva Dre: Praying before every meal is essential – By taking time, before eating, to ask God’s blessing, we show that we know how much we need His care — not only to bring us the food but to let it nourish us and bring us health and well-being.

Willis Raburu: It’s a Holy or Horny night ?

Madowo is currently in Botswana’s capital Gaborone.

“Every citizen of Botswana gets free land, anywhere in the country. Even though it’s the size of France or Kenya, it has only 2.5 million people. The Kalahari Desert covers 70% of the country. But there’s still plenty of tribal land to go around. All citizens of Botswana over 18 are eligible to apply for available tribal land in any tribal territory or area. They also have free land for agricultural use. Good morning from Gaborone,” he said on Friday
