Jalang'o

Lang’ata MP Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o has showed support to ODM Party days  after his controversial meeting with President William Ruto.

The former radio presenter received criticism from his party leader Raila Odinga after meeting the head of state on Tuesday, February 7. Amid the backlash, the comedian proved he was unmoved. He shared a photo of himself on his Instagram stories and captioned it with a quote about importance of braveness.

In an interview with digital creators on Wednesday night he was asked whether he supported plans by Raila to march to state house on Monday, March 20, demanding the president’s removal from office.

Jalang’o responded to the question by saying Raila’s word was final.

“Baba said it will be a holiday, right? Baba’s word is final.”

However, the legislator stopped short of saying he would participate in the protest.

“We will participate immediately after the holiday is gazetted,” he said in the video that was shared on YouTube.

Jalang’o also addressed the state of his former co-host at Kiss 100, Kamene Goro, who lost her job.

“Kamene is doing very good, we had whisky yesterday, and she is in a better place. She will be back on radio very soon.”
