Jalang'o

Lang’ata MP Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o cleverly dealt with a netizen who claimed that he stands no chance of being an MP after 2027 elections.

The MP had taken to Instagram to update his followers about the launch of 6 roads in his constituency when the Instagram user struck..

“Today we hit the road running with our KERRA roads DCC, Eng Runno and Lang’ata constituency roads board we launched the 6 roads allocated to this financial year. Hapa ni kazi tu,” Jalang’o shared.

The Instagram user acknowledged his development strategy but insisted that he will go home after five years.

“Kazi but after five years unaenda home Jalaa, take that to the bank and deposit it,” the netizen said.

The lawmaker however hit back at him saying, “Wewe  kwani hauna home ya kuenda?”

A section of Jalang’o’s fans are still mad at him following his interaction with president William Ruto a few weeks ago. The move saw him get kicked out of an Azimio parliamentary group meeting days later but he maintained that he is still loyal to opposition leader Raila Odinga despite meeting the president.

In a separate interview, he explained the motive behind his visit to the statehouse.

“I went to Ruto to learn skills of winning elections because Ruto has never lost elections since he entered politics. I went to learn how he (Ruto) has been getting it right whether it’s stealing or other ways. I’m telling you I’m getting those skills and I know I will become the first person from the Luo community to become president. You will remember the statement I’m telling you today when a boy from Gem constituency gets declared president,” the former comedian and radio host said.
