Musician Akothee has vowed to stop using making after her make-up  artist did a shoddy job while preparing her for a function on Thursday.

Akothee was among the celebrities who graced the opening of Naivas’ new branch at Thindigwa along Kiambu Road.

The mother of five said she spend a fortune to look good only for her to be disappointed. She however said that the expense does not hurt her as much as the time she woke  up to have the make-up done.

“Hiii make up hapana  Eeee  Make up can ruin your whole function And I actually told them I don’t feel it and everyone was like ,you look great 😭
Now 4000 gone just like this .I will soon drop make up. Hii imeniumaaaa sanaaaaa. Hata hiyo pesa haijaniuma, kenye imeniuma ni. I had to wake up at 5.30 am just for the same make up yet I only slep at 1.00 am,” she lamented on social media.

Her fans comforted her and urged her to embrace her natural beauty saying she looks good.

This comes just days after her fiancé Mister Omosh said that one thing that can be annoying about Akothee is when she has make-up on although he loves her deeply with or without make-up.

“When she has make-up sometimes, that is very annoying. I like her natural, with make-up I don’t care but when we hug, I am coloured on the cheek,” Omosh said.
