Akothee is pleading with Kenyans to support a needy student who scored 351 marks in KCPE 2022 exams.

The girl identified as Makina Adhiambo is supposed to join Nyakach girls high school on Monday but until now, she has seen no sign of proceeding with her education.

Akothee said that she is not able to support her because she is supporting many other students and her foundation is yet to have donors.

“You know I can’t do everything Alone. I have so many other students I am already sponsoring and as you Know Akothee foundation has no donors yet . It’s all from my pocket. It’s a bit heavy for me , but it hurts when this kind of news keep popping, I can’t keep quite .So let us help this girl go to school this year as team Akothee Foundation. PAYBILL 205024,” the mother of five said on Facebook.

She also shared a video of of an emotional Makina who said that her parents are not able to support her secondary school education.

“I am Okoth Makina Adhiambo. Until today, I have not seen any sign of going to school. My parents are not able to take me to school. I am requesting for your help so that I can go to school. I was called to join Nyakach girls,” she said.
