Gospel singer and preacher Linet Munyali, popularly known as Size 8 Reborn, has opened up on the journey  that saw her start a church.

The Mateke hit maker opened her church a few months ago and it’s known as Christian Revealed Ministries.

According to her, she took the step to assure those who have lost trust in churches that people are different. She further revealed that she was called to preach a longtime ago, after turning her back on the secular world, but she had been running away from the call.

“You find people losing hope and trust in those churches. But I want to assure them that not everyone is the same. I do not blame them when they bash people,  Some people still love God and preach because it is a calling. I have been running away from this call and agreed after 10 years. After being up and down, I am now serving God. With time, they [critics] will understand that we are different in how we do our things,” she told Nairobi News

Speaking about her husband reaction when she wanted to open a church, Size 8 said that DJ Mo was not sure about the move. After seeing her seriousness and the lives that she impacted, he became her greatest supporter.

“When I started, he was like, form ni gani? He has seen the passion, the seriousness and the lives that have been impacted through me,” Size 8 said.

Her church currently has 8,000 members, comprising of those who attend physically and online.

Size 8 got saved in April 2013 and was ordained as a pastor in December 2021.
